Here are some things you can do to reduce the junk mail you recieve:
1. To opt out of the pre-approved credit card solicitations, call 1-888-567-8688 or go to www.Optoutprescreen.com
2. You can request the to stop the barrage of junk mail by mailing a signed letter to Direct Marketing Association, Mail Preference Service, PO Box 643, Carmel, NY 15012. You can print a form to fill out here. List every way your mail comes addressed. For example, it may be J. Smith, J.L. Smith, J. Smyth, Ms. J. Smith and so on.
3. To opt out of certain catalogs you get without canceling ones you want to keep receiving, go to www.catalogchoice.org.
